“Our very business in life is not to get ahead of others… but to get ahead of ourselves.”

Thomas S. Monson

I think this quote means that instead on focusing to be better than others. We should focus on improving ourselves for ourselves and not for selfish reasons.

“True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse”

Og Mandino

I think this quote means that it doesnt matter how much money you have in your wallet of purse. True wealth is what you have inside your heart. It's whether you're a good person or not. It's how happy you are with your life. True wealth is about love and inner peace with yourself.

My First Week of Highschool 2014

My first day of school was just overwhelming. i woke up late and rushed to get my advisory teacher. As i got to the classroom i can see everyone focusing their attention on me. I saw about three familiar faces.. the rest were complete strangers to me. As i sat down i recieved my classes. Yaaaay i didnt have a history class, remembering how terrible i was at History. After the class was finsihed I went to first period which was just awkward and then i went to my second and so on. I was just stressed and wanted to go home and crawl into my bed and take a nap. But nope, i was stuck here for 7 hours.
I wasnt nervous i was just sleepy and tired and god i was starving. I was upset about all those games we were playing during class to meet new people, it just made everyone feel even more uncomfortable.Well other than that it was fine. I got to meet a couple of new interesting people. And as days passed by, the more people i met. School wasnt confusing, high school is just a more mature and advanced version of middle school. Now, every morning i have to get up and wake up at 6am to deal with people that i dont even like. But overall everything, I think High school is going to be a great experience for me.

The choices we make in life or sometimes the choices other people make is the cause of our destiny. The decisions we make, great or small, determine who we are as a person. The outcome of our decisions might be good or in other times, might be bad.
