Refection: I think what he's trying to say is the real reason why people make decisions. A person makes decisions to find out what the best option is. They narrow down their options and pick choices that they think are the right ones. Decision making takes critical thinking and sense of judgement.

I think he was trying to tell us that we choose our own paths. We're our own person, therfore we make our own decisons. We're the only one that can make decisions for ourselves

 The choices we make in life or sometimes the choices other people make is the cause of our destiny. The decisions we make, great or small, determine who we are as a person. The outcome of our decisions might be good or in other times, might be bad.
